Agenzia Industrie Difesa is a public law entity with legal personality and administrative, financial, and accounting autonomy.
It is the Ministry of Defense’s in-house agency and ensures the coordinated and unified management of Defense production facilities.
The creation of economic and social value for the State and the community is the foundation of the Agency’s work. Through the development of its personnel and their skills, it develops new products and services.
MISSION
Generating economic, social, and strategic value for the country in the defense sector, strengthening and enhancing the national industrial and technological base.
The Agency works by reactivating, strengthening, and renewing the production capabilities of defense industrial plants, adapting them to the evolving international context. It guarantees the State the continuity, autonomy, and reliability of strategic industrial capabilities, in support of national defense and Italy’s international commitments.
