Roma 11 luglio 2025: “La conferenza per la ricostruzione dell’Ucraina vede l’Agenzia Industrie Difesa in campo per sostenere il sistema sanitario dell’Oblast di Odessa e nello specifico la salute materna e neonatale. Con lo Stabilimento Chimico Farmaceutico di Firenze, unica industria farmaceutica di Stato, in collaborazione con il Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale e con l’Agenzia Italiana per la Cooperazione allo Sviluppo, grazie al supporto convinto del Vice Ministro Onorevole Edmondo Cirielli, forniremo apparecchiature per la terapia intensiva neonatale, incubatrici, apparecchiature diagnostiche oltre che provvedere ad una specifica formazione professionale per i sanitari. Interventi concreti nel quadro di aiuti umanitari necessari e impellenti che impatteranno positivamente su oltre 400.000 neonati, bambini e adolescenti e 50.000 minori sfollati internamente”.

L’evento è stato, inoltre, l’occasione per avviare, durante l’incontro bilaterale con il Vice Ministro della Salute ucraino Eden Adamanov, un percorso per ampliare la collaborazione in ambito medico sanitario mediante la fornitura di farmaci orfani per le malattie rare e per il sostegno alla salute mentale dei bambini e dei veterani. L’obiettivo è anche quello di sottoscrivere un accordo con il Centro Statale per i veterani di guerra Lisova Polyana e, insieme al MAECI e all’AICS, adoperarsi affinché tutto ciò diventi presto un’azione concreta. Agenzia Industrie Difesa crede fermamente che la salute sia un valore primario e soprattutto un valore da condividere e difendere perché è la base delle nostre democrazie. Dall’inizio del conflitto ci sono stati ben 2214 attacchi contro le strutture sanitarie ucraine e la capacità industriale di AID quale asset strategico dell’Italia è fondamentale per la ricostruzione e la spinta allo sviluppo sanitario, umanitario e sociale dell’Ucraina. Le competenze industriali di Agenzia Industrie Difesa che rappresentano le eccellenze del Sistema Italia, devono essere indirizzate anche alla protezione e alla cura delle fasce più deboli: donne, bambini e veterani come impegno prioritario.
Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025: Defense Industry Agency (AID) Supporting the Healthcare System of Odessa
Rome, July 11, 2025: “The Ukraine Recovery Conference sees the Defense Industry Agency (AID) engaged in supporting the healthcare system of the Odessa Oblast, specifically focusing on maternal and neonatal health. In collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, and with the strong support of Deputy Minister Hon. Edmondo Cirielli, we will provide neonatal intensive care equipment, incubators, diagnostic tools, and offer specialized professional training for healthcare workers. These are concrete actions within the framework of urgent humanitarian aid that will have a positive impact on over 400,000 newborns, children, and adolescents, as well as 50,000 internally displaced minors.”

The event also provided an opportunity to initiate, during the bilateral meeting with Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Health Eden Adamanov, a process to expand collaboration in the medical and healthcare sectors through the provision of orphan drugs for rare diseases and support for the mental health of children and veterans. The aim is also to sign an agreement with the State Center for War Veterans, Lisova Polyana, and, together with MAECI and AICS, to ensure that this becomes a tangible action. The Defense Industry Agency strongly believes that health is a primary value, one to be shared and defended, as it is the foundation of our democracies. Since the beginning of the conflict, there have been 2,214 attacks against Ukrainian healthcare facilities, and AID’s industrial capacity as a strategic asset for Italy is crucial for the reconstruction and advancement of Ukraine’s healthcare, humanitarian, and social development. The industrial competencies of the Defense Industry Agency, representing the excellence of the Italian System, must also be directed towards the protection and care of the most vulnerable: women, children, and veterans, as a priority commitment.
